Chez Conversations at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival

Cleo Wade, Liza Voloshin, Margot, Kate Greer and Mia Moretti, co-founders of chez conversations, the New York based female arts collective, hosted three nights of art and music in New Orleans during the Jazz and Heritage Festival weekend as an ode to one of their favorite cities in the world and Cleo’s hometown.

The weekend evenings at the Kingsway mansion included Cleo Wade’s homecoming show “Everything You Want Is Yours” curated by Liza Voloshin, featuring sound installations by Mia Moretti, along with a live performance of Margot’s debut album “All I Wanted Was To Love You.” In the spirit of girl power, the final night’s installations included the art of fellow New Yorkers Stacey Bendet, Kate Greer, Megan Guip, Grace Landrieu, Sade Lythcott, Jauretsi Saizarbitoria, and Aisha Sharpe, along with Liza Voloshin’s oil painting series, “Alter of the Female.”

During the hot days at the festival, the girls took breaks dancing to their festival favorites Arcade Fire, Bruce Springsteen, Trombone Shorty, and Bobby Womack by cooling off at the Gospel Tent. They savored the weekend with brunch at favorite French Quarter restaurant, Café Amelie, followed by beautiful cocktails at Loa at The International House Hotel.
