When it comes to beauty, little girls typically begin to learn good habits from their mother early on. So, if your mother was a beauty junkie, you probably grew up loving makeup just as much as she did. Unsurprisingly, this applies to celebrity offspring as well. Take Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter, as an example, showing us that when it comes to glamour, the apple — pun totally intended — certainly doesn’t fall far from the tree.

“Apple was very concerned about us not having contouring kits,” explained Paltrow, the creative director for makeup at Juice Beauty, to the New York Post. “So we made them. The latest thing that she’s asked me is, ‘Can we please make a lip kit that stays on all day long?’”

Just 12, Apple already understands the struggle of finding a good, long-lasting lipstick, the importance of contouring like a Kardashian — and the marketing power behind it all.

Considering how much Apple seems to know about beauty, it’s rather unsurprising that her mother actually takes her opinion into account when creating new products, especially since she represents the upcoming generation of beauty product consumers. Paltrow and Juice Beauty founder, Karen Behnke, actually incorporated Apple’s suggestions into their latest line, most notably with a liquid lip gloss that’s named after the preteen.

Apple isn’t the only Hollywood youngster to show off her affinity for makeup. Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy, adorably broke into her mother’s makeup bag and applied lip gloss and eyeliner on to herself. Even Christina Millian’s 5-year-old daughter got in on the action, posting a few makeup tutorials on her mother’s Instagram using eyeshadow, brow products and even a contour kit.

Does this mean the upcoming generation of celebrity children will be our next wave of beauty influencers? At the rate they’re going, probably, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what beauty innovations they’ll bring our way. The future loos bright and beautiful!
