“I grow a ton of cucumbers, of all different varieties, which are so hydrating and soothing for the skin. This recipe is something I’ve learned on my own, and is truly rooted in nature. I usually whip it up after I’ve been traveling or gone for a long hike. The key is in its simplicity.”

One for the Recipe Box: Radiant Skin Elixir
1 medium cucumber
3 tablespoons chilled, purified water
2 drops of neroli (orange blossom) essential oil

“Blend the peeled, seeded, and sliced cucumber with water on medium speed, until it forms a juicy, thick pulp. Strain the mixture over a glass jar. Add two drops of the neroli essential oil and mix well. You can store this elixir in the refrigerator for about two days. Using a cotton pad or washcloth, apply one to two teaspoons of the mixture to your face and décolletage, avoiding the eye area. You can use this recipe daily. I recommend it when your skin is irritated, windburned, or dehydrated.”
