There is no greater time to stock up on new beauty products than during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This annual event takes place every summer between late July and early August, with the retailer slashing prices — often in half — on high-end brands and limited-edition sets that would normally set you back hundreds of dollars (and have you eating PB&J sandwiches to make up for it).

If you’re bold enough to brave the crowds at the department store counter, you’ll also get access to tons of free samples and makeovers. But if you’re a beauty maven or maverick who prefers the luxury of shopping without feeling stressed or guilty, than you’ll want to peruse the online deals. FYI: the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now through August 7.
