5 Girls Tried Kylie Jenner's Black Metallic Lipstick And Here's What Happened
Lately, Kylie Jenner has been dropping limited-edition lip kits left and right, and obviously, we had to scoop up her metallic black color KyMajesty before she takes it off the market for "a while". 😿
Surprisingly, the shimmery shade was very different than her first black color, Dead of Knight. Here's what the Seventeen.com team thought of KyMajesty.

"I am obsessed with this lipstick. The color is so cool and the formula is way smoother than Kylie's other lip kits. I want this one! I really like it."
Carolyn
"I think I'm starting to warm up to the dark lipstick thing because I almost like this one. It definitely takes some getting used to, but I could see myself, one day, working up the confidence to wear this out. I think it's the sparkles. They give the look a little girly flair, which is a bit more my style."

"KyMajesty was really nice once it was evenly applied. The formula felt nice and totally not drying on my lips. With that said, putting on the lipstick was a struggle. It isn't very pigmented and looks really patchy on the first application. Once you apply a second coat, it looks even and the coverage is much better. But there's major color transfer and even just taking a few sips of water from a straw made some of the color disappear and my lips looked a little pink around the center where my straw touched."

"Like Kylie's other metals, the texture is amazing. It's really creamy and comes off easily without any staining. It's super sparkly, but it doesn't have the blue undertones that I was expecting. It's really more of a charcoal gray IRL, but I still really like it."

"This lipstick was tough to apply. The formula feels uneven - kind of thin and gloppy. I've never had to apply so many coats of lipstick to get this level of opacity before. While I can see this shade looking bomb on someone else, the undertones are way too cool and gray for me. This made me sad, because I specifically wore blue today to match the lipstick. I was really looking forward to testing this out, but this isn't my favorite lip kit at all."
