Fourth of July weekend is upon us, and celebrity manicurist Jin Soon Choi is prepared to help you make your nails stand out, even among the most festive look. Her manicure will amp up your classic patriotic print with a chic and modern twist. Just follow this step-by-step guide to make your celebratory nail art explode.

Step 1: Apply a base coat like JINsoon Power Coat ($18) to all nails.

Step 2: Apply two coats of your favorite white nail polish.

Step 3: On the ring finger, fill in half of your nail closest to the cuticle with JINsoon x Barneys exclusive Ardor ($18).

Step 4: Repeat step three, but with JINsoon Cool Blue ($18) on the index finger.

Step 5: Using a striping brush, draw and fill in a rectangle with JINsoon Cool Blue on the middle finger.

Step 6 and 7: Paint the number 4 in the white space on the ring finger using Cool Blue. Paint the number 7 in the white space on the index finger using Ardor.

Step 8: Using a striping brush, draw a thin line on the middle finger using JINsoon Ardor.

Step 9: Complete your look with a top coat like JINsoon Top Gloss ($18).
