And there it was. And all that marketing worked. Two weeks after the July 13 Disney-assisted spectacular, Ford said it had so many $100 (refundable) Bronco deposits that delivery of initial orders could stretch into 2022. How many? The Detroit Free Press put the number at 150,000.

Our lead headline on Reveal Night would help explain why: "2021 Bronco is Here and It's Everything You Hoped For," and suggested it looked every bit the Jeep Wrangler challenger it was designed to be. We even took an early pass at comparing the two.

Did we stop there? We did not. We explained the six trim levels, we compared the Bronco's new size to its old size, and we examined all the available off-road goodies.

Did we stop there? No, we absolutely did not. Here are all the stories we knocked out. They're good. About the only thing we didn't detail was the apparel.

Select Bronco models come equipped with washable floor mats with drain holes for easy cleanup. On the dashboard, mounts are built in so that drivers and passengers can mount accessories such as phones, tablets, and cameras with ease. There are also available grab handles mounted onto the center console along with Molle hooks mounted onto the seatbacks. Additionally, owners can opt for six upfitter switches mounted above the rearview mirror for adding even more accessories such as LED light bars.

A driver assistance package called the Trail Toolbox is available on the new Bronco, and it includes trail control, which is a cruise-control setting for slow trail driving. The Trail Toolbox also includes trail turn assist, which uses torque vectoring to tighten the turn radius, and one-pedal acceleration and braking control for slow rock crawling—if you're into the easy way, that is.

If you're going to drive your Bronco off-road, you're going to want to find the best trails. Bronco's trail map system works through the 8.0- and 12.0-inch SYNC 4 touchscreens, and even better, the maps are accessible offline. It's an extensive network through three different trail mapping systems, and other Bronco owners can share the fun and scenic routes they find.
