Nine tourists killed in Pakistan hotel attack

Gunmen stormed a hotel in a remote region of Gilgit-Baltistan of northern Pakistan on Sunday, killing 10 people including nine foreign tourists and a Pakistani guide. Among those killed were five Ukrainians, three Chinese, a Russian and their Pakistani guide. Pakistan's Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan confirmed the casualties and said that one Chinese tourist was retrieved alive from the incident. According to TV reports, about 14 to 16 attackers, wearing uniforms of the Gilgit Scouts, barged into the hotel at 10:30 pm last night
