Gaya: Security forces seize arms from Maoist camp

Acting on a tip-off, a team of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), STF (special task force) and district police along with a unit of COBRA (crack unit of Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) in Gaya district of Bihar recovered huge cache of arms and allied explosives from a Maoist camp in the forest near Lutwa. The top brass of the district police briefed the mediapersons about this successful operation at Gaya on Wednesday. Giving details about the operation, Senior Superintendent of Police of the area, Ganesh Kumar mentioned exclusive teams were formed to undertake it. He said an LRP (long range patrolling) strategy was chalked out since the forests in and around Lutwa are known to be infested by Maoists.
