Security forces seize cache of arms in New Delhi

Police seized ninety-nine pistols and magazines from a car, arrested two after busting an arms racket in New Delhi. Acting on a tip off based on information from reliable sources, police raided an ambassador car on July 16 where 99 pistols and 198 spare magazines were recovered from cavities created behind headlights of the car. Delhi police arrested two men, Niranjan Mishra and Mohammad Firoz Alam in connection with the case. Addressing a news conference on the success of racket busted by Delhi police, joint commissioner of police, special cell, Delhi, M. M. Oberoi shared details of the operation with mediapersons in New Delhi on Wednesday.
