Nitaqat Law: Khurshid lauds 3 month respite given to immigrants in Saudi Arabia

Union Foreign Minister, Salman Khurshid on Tuesday lauded the three month respite provided to illegal immigrants in Saudi Arabia to resolve or correct any issues with paperwork and passport. The work force nationalisation law, 'Nitaqat', introduced by the Saudi Arabia, fully came into effect on March 29 this year. It aims to accelerate the nationalisation process, as it makes mandatory for small and medium businesses to hire one Saudi national out of every 10 migrant workers. Khurshid lauded the efforts made by the Saudi Arabian government to provide respite to the immigrants in the country.
