Stretch it out: 10 extreme limos

MORE AT POPULAR MECHANICS

There's riding in style and then there's rolling in extreme look-at-me mode. Some of the wildest limousine conversions take the hottest cars and stretch them out, while others simply pack a party onto wheels. Whatever the reason for the ride, here's how to roll when your average limo simply won't do.

Ferrari F1 360

England-based Prestige Limousine created the first-ever 400-hp Ferrari F1 360 limousine by adding nonstructural carbon-fiber panels bonded to the existing Ferrari. The designers worried about adding the extra weight to the vehicle, but reinforced the added section with even more carbon fiber. The best part?  Enormous Ferrari-red gullwing doors.

Chevy Camaro Transformer

Avolar Limo calls its custom-built 312-horsepower Camaro limousine the Bumblebee Transformer, after the character in the Transformer films, we can only assume. The ride includes seating for 12, fiberoptics to wire all your media needs, lasers, mirrored ceiling panels, media galore, and a full bar. This modded Camaro cruises the streets of L.A.

Trolley

This one screams chic wedding more than party lifestyle, but you have to appreciate the classic conversion of a British staple by A Perfect Limo. With oak seating for 36, or 50 if you include standing room and pack people in—this trolley actually has more function than you might think. The trolley limo comes with laser-show capabilities, a fog machine, and flat screens. The fully enclosed riding cabin also features a fireplace for those cold evenings and karaoke, too.
