Honda Adds Special-Edition 2014 Ridgeline Model to Lineup

Honda has introduced a special edition of its 2014 Ridgeline midsize pickup, to add new interest and sales in the latest generation of Ridgelines. The high-end truck, which features leather seats, unique colors and badging, and special trim, is available at an MSRP of $37,505 (excluding $830 destination charge).

Standard features on the Ridgeline Special Edition include a rearview camera, keyless entry, and a 60/40 split lift-up rear seat with storage underneath. Besides the exclusive 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels with black trim spokes and SE badging on the rear tailgate, the high-end truck includes a black trim package with black headlight and brakelight housings, black tailgate, and black grille. The navigation system features voice-recognition and Zagat Survey restaurant information, in addition to XM Radio and Bluetooth connectivity and multi-information display.

The 5-passenger utility truck is based on the same unibody platform as the Honda Pilot and Acura MDX. Launched in 2005 as a 2006 model, the Ridgeline is offered in five trim levels--RT, Sport, RTS, RTL with leather, and RTL with leather and navigation system. Suggested retail pricing for these models ranges from $29,575 to $37,505 for the RTL with leather and navigation system and the SE model. Color options for the Ridegline SE are Taffeta White, Crystal Black, and Alabaster Silver with black leather interior.
