2013 LA Auto Show Recap: Best and Brightest
If you haven’t already noticed, we made our way west to check out this year’s LA Auto Show– and there was a lot to see! We’ve already taken note of the Jaguar F-Type, Chevy Colorado and Subaru WRX, just to name a few, but there were plenty of other new reveals worth noting.
Here’s our recap of this year’s LA Auto Show:
The Americans are finally back in the mid-size truck segment, courtesy of Chevrolet. The new Colorado sports a new 4- and 6-cylinder engine, 2- and 4WD, and loads of other creature comforts. We love it.
Hyundai Tuscon Fuel Cell
It may not have been the boldest ride we’ve ever seen, but the Hyundai Tuscon fuel cell was the Korean automakers very first production fuel cell. We actually got a chance behind the wheel (coming soon), and it was definitely something to take note of.
Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec
Alongside a few minor upgrades, Hyundai introduced an all-new Veloster Turbo R-Spec. Like the Genesis Coupe R-Spec, the Veloster comes stripped of many amenities, features a new short-throw performance manual gearbox, and a few minor aesthetic upgrades.
The shining star of the LA Auto Show came in the form of the all-new Jaguar F-Type Coupe. Like the convertible in which is followed, the coupe comes with both V6 and V8 options, and a top of the range 550 horsepower.
