This Rare Nissan Z Just Sold for an Absurd $800,000 at Auction

The original Bullitt Mustang's $3.4 million sale at Mecum was truly absurd, but there was another wild car auction that happened last week. This rare Datzun Z432R, a competition-prepped version of the early 240Z with the drivetrain from the first-generation Skyline GT-R, sold at BH Auction's Tokyo event for the equivalent of $805,000 last weekend.

That is a lot of money for a Nissan Z.
