If Gran Turismo 6 itself wasn't enough justification to build a custom virtual driving setup and get busy, perhaps the latest addition to the game will persuade you: the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo now has its own race-bred edition.
To make it better-suited to the competitive racing environment in GT6, the AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept gets a range of updates, becoming the racing version of the concept. What's new? Output of the virtual 5.5-liter AMG twin-turbo V-8 is up to 591 horspeower, the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is optimized for race conditions (and gets a new dog-geared sequential arrangement), while weight is shaved by 187 pounds to just 2,866 lbs total.
Otherh changes include a more aerodynamic exterior, a fixed rear wing for added downforce, the CCD camera side mirrors of the original are replaced with standard mirrors, and the rear brake lights house a Gran Turismo logo.
