How To Cook Your Holiday Turkey Using A $490,000 Lamborghini

I admit, spending $490,000 on a Lamborghini Aventador by Oakley Design might not seem like the wisest investment for cooking your holiday turkey, especially when you can buy a superb double oven from Best Buy for around $2,000. But that’s what today’s Richie Riches are doing. Don’t believe me? Check out the insane video of said Lambo cooking a turkey using nothing but its flame-spitting titanium exhaust pipes.

Before we get into the, “why on earth would someone do this,” let’s take a look at the car: It boasts 60 more horsepower than the stock Aventador’s 700-hp, and, most importantly, it possesses that aforementioned titanium exhaust system. Every time the driver lift off the gas, flames burst out of the pipes to create the visual experience all wealthy oil tycoons have come to expect. It also makes for a unique barbecue.

Noticing the untapped potential, Tim Burton, a car blogger from the UK who goes by the online name of Shmee150, grabbed his pitchfork, found a half-million dollar supercar and began roasting the turkey for around ten minutes until it was golden brown. I suspect he got his idea from the folks that grilled a sausage using a Lamborghini earlier this year. Anyway, we won’t label him a copycat, as this trick is still rather distinct. Burton says, “It is a standard Christmas ritual that I collect the turkey for our family lunch and this year I thought I’d try a new way to cook it.” After a quick bite, Burton deemed the turkey, “Perfect.”
