February 19: Cale Yarborough wins his fourth Daytona 500 on this date in 1984

Danica Patrick made history last year when she became the first woman to win pole position for the Daytona 500, and despite the angry conspiracy theorists on Twitter, Patrick had the fastest car all through the weekend, hitting 196.434 mph for her slot. Yet 29 years ago, a good old boy from South Carolina won the pole going five miles an hour faster. Cale Yarborough would go on to win his fourth Daytona 500 on this date in 1984, a race that wasn't as eventful as the fistfight he got into with the Allison brother following the 1979 race, but one that's still a classic.
