Beat the heat with AC: Flickr photo of the day

The AC Aceca is the closed-top coupe version of the AC Ace, famous for its part in Shelby's notorious AC Cobra. Prior to the effervescent Texan approaching AC to shoehorn a small block Ford V-8 into the lightweight Ace chassis, the Aceca proved to be especially capable on the racetrack; Morgan reportedly spent two years trying to beat the factory AC team. This particular Aceca, sent to us courtesy of Steve Sexton, remains an AC Bristol Aceca GT--Bristol being the BMW-designed engine produced for AC by the luxury British automaker.
