2017 Honda Ridgeline Returns To Duty
The original Honda Ridgeline pickup was, to put it kindly, an oddball. It had its fans who wanted a car-like ride twinned with the ability to haul an occasional payload, but in the tradition-bound U.S. pickup realm, the flying buttress style, relative lack of grunt and relatively high cost all made the Ridgeline one of Honda’s rare miscues.
Yet pickups are such a part of American culture that no automaker the size of Honda can ignore them. Hence the 2017 Honda Ridgeline, a reworked pickup that shows Honda sticking to its new ideas about what pickups should be, while trying to win back some of the buyers it turned off before.
