The brainchild of London-based best friends Lucy Arrowsmith and Vikki Van Someren, the four- to seven-day retreat aims to combat stress, exhaustion, trauma, and the loss of female identity and sexual energy. "We want to help women rebuild their self-confidence, so they can achieve their potential," Van Someren says. • The Best (and Most Wildly) Dressed Stars at the CFDA Awards

Sarah Leon Photography by Sherly Rabbani & Josephine Solimene See more photos from the event at WMagazine.com Tonight is the night where designers celebrate designers," CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg said as she opened the organization's annual awards ceremony, "And this is what American fashion is all about." It turns out that celebrating American fashion is also a heavily emotional endeavor. Things kicked off with a heartfelt tribute to Ruth Finley, the creator of the fashion calendar and this year's recipient of the CFDA's Board of Directors Tribute, and were quickly followed by a series of standing ovations and plenty of tears: Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen touchingly dedicated their award for Accessories Designer of the Year to their friend, the recently deceased designer Jay Ott; Raf Simons choked up while accepting the award for International Design (fortunately, his date for the evening, the French actress Marion Cotillard, was there to comfort him); and Naomi Campbell cried while presenting the legendary model and agent Bethann Hardison with the Founder's Award ("Bethann is like my mother," Campbell said. "I call her mom."). Even an Adam Selman-clad Rihanna, who received the Fashion Icon award for her energetic, inventive style, took the celebration seriously. "I can compensate for all of my weaknesses with fashion," she said. "I grew up in a really small island. I didn't have a lot of access to fashion, but as far as I could remember fashion has always been my defense mechanism. Even as a child, I remember thinking 'She can beat me, but she cannot beat my outfit.'" • Why Lily Allen Feels like an Underachiever

It's springtime in New York, and the British pop star Lily Allen, all five feet two inches of her, is in town. The last time she came here to promote an album was in 2009, and she was pursued by a constant swarm of paparazzi eager to catch the witty and vulgar enfant terrible, who had no problem telling Elton John to "fuck off" on national television. This evening, outside the Mercer Hotel, all's quiet. Her most constant companions on this trip have been her daughters, Ethel Mary, 2, and Marnie Rose, 1.

  • There's a Reason This Young Model May Look Familiar: Can You Tell Who Her Famous Big Sis Is?

Anyone in search of the next Kate Moss should perhaps look no further than her half-sister, Lottie. Test shots of the 16-year-old Brit beauty bear an eerie resemblance to the images shot by Mario Sorrenti for the 1993 Calvin Klein Obsession campaign that catapulted Kate to supermodeldom. But although Lottie has just signed with Storm Model Management (the same agency that discovered Kate) and recently landed her first editorial, in Dazed & Confused, she feels more at ease in her school uniform than she does in, say, Balmain straight off the runway.

  • What to Know About the Star of Gone Girl

David Fincher cast Rosamund Pike for the leading role in Gone Girl because she was an unfamiliar face. "I have a fondness for difficulties," Rosamund Pike told me as her trainer, Holly Lawson, who is the No. 5 welterweight female boxer in the world, taped Pike's hands at the Box 'N Burn gym in Santa Monica. Seven months earlier, when she was cast by the director David Fincher in the highly coveted role of Amy Dunne in Gone Girl-the movie adaptation of Gillian Flynn's dark, twisty best-seller about a woman who disappears on her fifth wedding anniversary and may (or may not) have been murdered by her husband-Pike, at Fincher's request, began enthusiastically working out almost daily with Lawson.

  • Is Going Commando Hollywood's Newest Trend?

At the Los Angeles premiere of Iron Man 3, the actress was extensively photographed in a sheer Antonio Berardi gown that showcased several inches of her Tracy Anderson-toned derriere. And a few days afterward, there she was again, letting it all hang out in an ivory Prabal Gurung halter top while speaking at the 2013 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas. Going commando used to be the hallmark of provocative young celebs, whose drunken crotch flashes (Paris Hilton) and nipple slips (Lindsay Lohan) helped make TMZ a household name.
