 No trendy look would be complete without the complimentary accessory of eyelash extensions. The prominence of false eyelashes has been all over 2011 runways and they have become a must have fashion accessory. Eyelashes are now available in many different styles and can be purchased at any beauty supply, department or online store. They are a relatively inexpensive product that can be added to your beauty regimen. The style of the eyelashes is determined by both person as well as the event. A few eyelashes are usually much too dramatic for day time use and so are often stored with regard to celebrations or even unique situations. To lengthen the lashes, you need first of all, to determine the method, and they each have their advantages and disadvantages. How to Add Eyelashes Step one Clean eye area with a gentle makeup remover to ensure you have a clean surface. The glue will not stick to oil so be sure to use an oil-free eye makeup remover. Be sure not to use any oil-based makeup near your eyes. Step two The next step in applying false eyelashes is to choose a color and a length. For a natural look, stick with a color that matches your own shade of lashes. Do all your trimming before applying the adhesive. Hold false eyelashes up to your lash line, roughly measuring the length of the line of eyelashes you will need. With your scissors, trim any excess false eyelashes from the outer left or right edge of the false eyelashes. Apply an eye-shadow primer to your eyelids, which will help the eyelash glue adhere better. Step three Apply lash glue to the inner edge of the false eyelashes. If the glue looks like it will come out too thickly, use a toothpick or the end of a bobby pin and apply the glue to it, then lightly apply the glue to the base of the false eyelashes. Be sure not to apply too much glue or the false eyelashes will take too long to set and let them dry, take an eyelash curler and gently curl your new false eyelashes along with you own lashes. Step four Use tweezers to pick up the edge of the false eyelashes and gently press the corner of the false eyelashes against your closed eyelid, starting with the inner corner of your eye toward your nose. Make sure to attach the eyelashes as close as you can to your natural eyelash line. Use your fingertips to press and adjust the false eyelashes, making sure there is no gap between your eyelash line and the false eyelashes. Step five Wait for the glue to dry on your eyelashes and then use the eyelash curler to your natural and false eyelashes together for a more natural look. Repeat the application steps with the second eye. To unify the look of your new lashes apply liquid eyeliner over both. Danish fashion is known for its unique angle on design, innovation and aesthetics. On the catwalks are a growing number of new and known Danish talents with a preview of their upcoming collections. Copenhagen Fashion Week is held twice a year in Copenhagen. Copenhagen Fashion Week consists of a market week with 3 big fairs Bella Center, Oeksnehallen and Forum and a Fashion Week with fashion shows at City Hall as well as showrooms and events all over town. Copenhagen Fashion Week also offers a fashion week for consumers, citizens and tourists. The program is developed in collaboration between Wonderful Copenhagen, Copenhagen City Centre and Copenhagen Fashion Week and goes under the name: Copenhagen Fashion Festival. The first actual fashion week was held in 2006 organised by Danish Fashion Institute, while there have been organised fashion fairs since 1981. Today the event takes place in February and August and is the Nordic regions largest fashion event that presents over 1,600 exhibitors and 2,800 branded collections . During Copenhagen Fashion Week there is 35-40 fashion shows, a myriad of events, receptions, showrooms and fairs. Copenhagen Fashion Week is organised by the company Copenhagen Fashion Week at the Traders Fund Danish Fashion Institute, which aims to promote Danish fashion towards markets outside the country.
