The combined gravitational power of The Rock, Jason Statham and Idris Elba have thrown the planet off its axis and completely redefined what humans, cars, motorcycles, trucks, planes, and helicopters are capable of. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took to Instagram to announce the final official trailer before "Hobbs & Shaw" debuts Aug. 2.

  • Jaguar F-Type SVR and Range Rover Evoque Convertibles go rainbow for Pride

    BMW isn't the only automobile company getting involved in Pride Week, as Jaguar Land Rover announced it also has cars that will participate. On Sunday, June 30, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will participate in the NYC Pride March with several themed vehicles and employees walking next to them. JLR chose two of its most intriguing vehicles in the Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible.

  • SSC says first Tuatara delivery coming in Q3 2019

    SSC North America has officially announced that it expects to deliver its first production Tuatara in Q3 of 2019. SSC says it has been testing and validating various parts of its production subassemblies since the pre-production vehicle debuted at Pebble Beach 2018 (it originally debuted at Pebble in 2011). In a press release, SSC said, "manufacturing of the first production Tuatara is nearing completion and is on track for delivery to the first customer third quarter 2019 and additional deliveries to follow." The announcement comes six years after the company had previously announced first deliveries were coming in late 2013 or early 2014.

  • At least 57 e-scooters and bikes found at the bottom of Portland river

    E-scooter rollout is going just swimmingly in Portland. In addition to pedestrian concerns about the scooters cluttering cities and a substantial number of scooter-related injuries, it seems companies such as Lime, Bird, and Razor have another problem. According to a report from The Oregonian newspaper, at least 57 e-scooters and bicycles were recently discovered and removed from the Willamette, which runs through the heart of Portland.

    Within the automotive space, BMW is one of the strongest purveyors of the arts, and the company's support is once again on display with a special 8 Series Convertible crafted just for Pride Week. BMW commissioned design creative Jonathan Adler to create a wrap for the luxury drop-top, and the playful result is sure to be a hit at the WorldPride NYC parade. Adler, who is a prominent figure in the LGBTQIA+ community, took the pride symbol, the rainbow flag, and applied it to the 8 Series convertible.

    If it happens at all, many golfers knock in hole-in-ones in the quiet of a mediocre local course while two, maybe three, friends sit in their carts drinking Coors Lights. Kyger, a junior at Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek, Michigan, says he wasn't even considering a hole-in-one when he stepped up to the tee on the fourth hole at the Battle Creek Country Club. It's the first time somebody has hit the bullseye at the Gene Lewis Hughes, Sr. Memorial Golf Outing, which has raised more than $150,000 for the Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Car Center throughout the years.

    Aaron Paul and Kid Cudi tried. The studio attempt to bring Need for Speed to life was lukewarm, so a Russian videographer took a shot at the idea with this impressive digital short. Unearthed by Reddit user, AbuDab1, the clip is the work of Russia-based videographer @Chekunov_v.

  • Veneno Roadster, One:1, One-77, LaFerrari, P1, Veyron headline 25-car Bonham's auction

    The lot of 25 beautiful collector items includes a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, a Koenigsegg One:1, an Aston Martin One-77, a Ferrari LaFerrari, a McLaren P1, and a Bugatti Veyron. The collection, which was seized from a corrupt politician from Equatorial Guinea, is valued at roughly $13 million. The collection was previously owned by the vice president of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang, but the cars were seized when he was placed under investigation for money laundering and unfair management of public interests.

    Although the Speedsters' slick exterior design captured guests' attention, the interior on the concept car was crafted with the Heritage Design Package, which Porsche just announced will inspire future limited-edition models and future option packs on upcoming 911 models. The Speedster is part of Porsche's Heritage Design Strategy. Together, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Style Porsche are aiming to keep the company's history alive by integrating classic designs from the '50s, '60s, '70s, and '80s into new models.

    Years ago, when 38-year-old Kevin Mullan saw an antique fire truck with a built-in wood-fire pizza oven, he could see the business potential. The 419 part of the fire truck's name is a nod to the area code of Mullan's home, Toledo, Ohio, where there weren't any beer trucks for rent (go figure!). A Tapped419.com decal suggests there's something unique about the truck, though, and side panels open to reveal 10 beer taps built into the truck.

    With the market-wide adoption of the electronic parking brake, manual handbrakes have largely become part of history, as well. Toyota recently revived the handbrake, however, in an unexpected custom car built to drift – or, more accurately, slide. Toyota team member and paralympic track and field athlete Jarryd Wallace wanted to create a surprise experience for his dad Jeff Wallace for Father's Day.

    Under the leadership of CEO Geneva Long, the Bowlus brand returned to the market in 2014 with a new-and-improved Road Chief travel trailer. This week, Bowlus took its next evolutionary step for the brand by launching its biggest, most-advanced, and most expensive trailer yet, the Road Chief Endless Highways. In 2011, an original Road Chief built in the '30s was sold at a Gooding & Co Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, for $187,000.

    Being Spider-Man has its perks and advantages. It's also useful for calling in a favor that takes a science fair project from a C- to an A+. As part of promotional rounds leading up to "Spider-Man: Far From Home," Audi released a digital short (PR talk for long online commercial) that features Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) at their school's science fair.

  • Burt Reynolds' old Pontiac Trans Am replica sold for $317,500

    Following Burt Reynolds' passing last September, Julien's Auctions held an estate sale of the late actor's property on June 15-16 in Beverly Hills, Calif. Hundreds of items were included in the auction, but none more valuable than the Pontiac Trans Am Bandit replica previously owned by Reynolds. Item No. 716 was a replica of a Pontiac Trans Am Bandit that was seen in the original "Smokey and the Bandit." Not the real car, just a re-creation. The replica was owned by Reynolds for some years, and now that he's passed, it's coveted even more.

    It's called the Schweinefiletring, it's 175 miles of public roads, and it has predetermined stops for delicious pork sandwiches. Put on in part by Indianapolis Cars and Coffee, The Tire Squeal is launching this year on the Schweinefiletring with the hopes of becoming an annual event. It celebrates car culture, pork culture, and the beauty of Indiana with the proceeds going to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.

  • Michael Schumacher’s championship 2002 Ferrari F2002 set for auction

    RM Sotheby's November auction in Abu Dhabi might still be months away, but Formula 1 just gave racing fans a huge reason to get excited for the event now. F1 and Sotheby's announced 10 early entries for the auction, and the most special of the bunch is the 2002 Ferrari F2002, Michael Schumacher's championship-winning racecar. Schumacher dominated the field throughout the 2002 F1 season by finishing first or second in every race.

    The video, blogged by The Drive and posted by Maggie Lindwedel, took place at the Public Beach 2 dock on Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, Missouri. "Interesting things happening at the boat ramp," the caption reads.
