    As part of a joint venture with Allied Esports and MGM Grand International, a new multi-level Esports Arena is being built at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV with a target opening window of early 2018. Millennial Esports previously announced plans to open its own venue called thE Arena, which will be located off the strip in downtown Las Vegas.

  • Hearthstone's Journey to Un'Goro expansion gets release date

    Hearthstone lead designer Ben Brode and analyst Dan “Frodan” Chou revealed the last of the Journey to Un’Goro expansion cards on stream Friday alongside the expansion’s release date: April 6. Journey to Un’Goro introduces a prehistoric theme to Hearthstone, with many of the minions and spells featuring dinosaurs, dino themes, and a new ‘Adapt’ keyword. The Mage’s Quest is called Open the Waygate and tasks players with casting six spells that do not start off in their deck.

    The Heroes of the Storm Nexus has clearly been lacking pylons, which is why it is introducing StarCraft Protoss probe, Probius, as the game’s newest Hero. Blizzard has followed up that announcement with a new video explaining the little probe’s abilities and how its pylons will affect the field of play, along with a PTR patch that noticeably changes up a few existing Heroes. In addition to speed, Probius relies on pylons to make an impact.

    Hearthstone is preparing to usher in the Year of the Mammoth in the month of April, with the Year of the Kraken coming to a close. The final professional tournament contested under the Year of the Kraken will take place from March 23-26 during the Hearthstone Winter Championship, marking the last time viewers will see cards from the Blackrock Mountain, Grand Tournament, and League of Explorers expansions in pro play.
