  • Family Of Late Cardinals Prospect Thanks Fans On His Twitter Account

    The family of late St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras took over his Twitter account on Thursday to thank his fans and those who have sent their condolences. Taveras, 22, and his girlfriend died in car accident in his native Dominican Republic in October. Along with thanking Taveras' followers, the family also posted photos of heartwarming messages they have received:

    Taima the Hawk, the Seattle Seahawks' live mascot, apparently felt like watching the game from a different spot on Sunday. Instead of flying back to his handler before kickoff of the Seahawks-Giants game, Taima flew into the stands at CenturyLink Field and landed on a fan. Taima had no problem posing for pictures The hawk reportedly found his way back to his handler.

Despite being in triple coverage, Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham made the catch and scored what would have been the game-winning touchdown.
