  • 'The Tomorrow People' Takes Us Into Cara's Troubled Past

Tonight's episode of The CW's "Tomorrow People" (Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET) will finally start to shed some light on the enigmatic members of the titular group, starting with Peyton List's Cara. While we know that the guarded ass-kicker is romantically involved with the team's leader John (Luke Mitchell) and was responsible for bringing newcomer Stephen (Robbie Amell) into the fold, that's pretty much all we know about her. HuffPost TV caught up with List to discuss Cara's meaty backstory and what's ahead in terms of her chemistry with Stephen -- read on for more.

  • Stephen Amell Previews The Arrow's Showdown With Laurel & A Potential Sidekick

This week's episode of "Arrow" (Wed., Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW) is titled "Broken Dolls," and judging by the cliffhanger at the end of "Identity," things are likely going to get very messy in Starling City in tonight's installment. Oliver is now caught between a rock and a hard place, eager to make Starling City safer as the vigilante, but clearly still in love with Laurel, who now has a vendetta against his crime-fighting alter-ego in the wake of Tommy's (Colin Donnell) death. Amell admitted that things will come to a head between Laurel and the vigilante fairly soon: "We do resolve Laurel’s mission against the vigilante relatively early in the season, and this is something that Oliver says in the second episode -- and it’s to a different character, but it rings true all over the place -- that he’s willing to take these slings and arrows, no pun intended, as long as the city is becoming safer," he previewed.

  • Things Get Even More 'Awkward' After Jenna And Collin's Kiss

When "Awkward" returns with its final 10 episodes of Season 3 (Tues., Oct. 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET on MTV), life is going to get even more difficult for Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards). The midseason finale ended with our heroine locking lips with her new crush, Collin (Nolan Funk), but did current boyfriend Matty (Beau Mirchoff) see the smooch? "The premiere show really picks up where we left off … We don't know what Matty saw or what Matty knows, so even beyond what Jenna's next move is, we still have to figure out what everyone else has really seen," Rickards told HuffPost TV at a recent press junket for the show.

  • Scene-Stealer Of The Week: Bellamy Young As Drunk Mellie

ABC's "Scandal" (Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET) is consistently packed with stellar performances and jaw-dropping moments, so it's no surprise that Shonda Rhimes' political drama was the first series that came to mind when debuting our new weekly feature, HuffPost TV's Scene-Stealer of the Week. In this scene, Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) found his wife drunk on hooch, celebrating Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) survival -- since she knew that seeing her rival martyred would only increase her husband's idolatry. Laura Prudom: Mellie is a fascinatingly multifaceted character: self-assured enough to know that she's spectacular (which she is), but naive enough to believe that she's actually an equal opponent in her imagined war with Olivia Pope (which she isn't).

  • Has Oliver Met His Match?

Not only does the episode feature the return of China White (Kelly Hu) and the introduction of her fearsome new ally, Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White), it also gives us a first look at Alderman Sebastian Blood (Kevin Alejandro), a fresh-faced but savvy politician determined to clean up The Glades after the events of last season's finale. Of Oliver's new rival, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg teased, "One of the things that I think was so successful last season was that, Malcolm Merlyn, played by John Barrowman, everything he was saying was actually right.

  • 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Has Finally Found Its Footing

While the "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." premiere was a Hulk smash in the ratings and earned Clark Gregg the kind of acclaim he's been long overdue for, it's fair to say that the first three episodes of ABC's high-concept action series have been a little uneven. What have been your favorite and least favorite aspects?

  • Prepare To See A Whole New Side Of Dean

Dean (Jensen Ackles) is currently keeping Ezekiel's presence inside Sam a secret from his younger brother -- and from his original angelic ally, Castiel (Misha Collins) -- but on "Supernatural," secrets don't stay buried for long. HuffPost TV chatted with executive producer Jeremy Carver about Ezekiel's trustworthiness, Dean's secret, and how the mythology will be balanced between the demons, angels and the Winchesters in Season 9. How much should we trust Ezekiel's intentions at this point?

  • 'Reign' Trims Controversial Scene Before Air

The pilot for 16th century-based castle drama "Reign" featured a steamy masturbation scene in the version that was sent to advertisers and media after the show made the network’s schedule last May. But the final cut of the episode that was recently sent to critics and will air on the network this week has been toned down.

  • Steven Yeun On The 'Epic' 'Walking Dead' Return

"The Walking Dead" returns for its Season 4 premiere this Sunday (Oct., 13 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC), and when we catch up with our scrappy band of survivors at the prison, things will look a little different. HuffPost TV caught up with star Steven Yeun (who plays Glenn Rhee, one of the few original survivors left standing) to find out what's ahead when the AMC hit returns. Read on for his thoughts on The Governor (David Morrissey), Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) new perspective, and a particularly "epic" set piece you'll see in the premiere.

  • Watch The Lost 'Doctor Who' Episodes From The 1960s

In total, eleven "Doctor Who" episodes were recovered by Philip Morris, director of Television International Enterprises Archive, after he tracked records of tape shipments made by BBC to Africa for transmission.

  • 7 Reasons To Watch 'Once Upon A Time In Wonderland'

ABC's "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" premieres tonight (Thurs., Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET), and if you're a fan of the whimsical world that "Lost" alums Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have created on the original "Once Upon a Time," you'll find its spinoff thoroughly enchanting. Unlike the sprawling, flashback-laden, dimension-hopping shenanigans that may make "OUAT" (now in its third season) a little daunting to newcomers, "Wonderland" aims to be a more self-contained effort -- Kitsis admitted that they were inspired by FX's "American Horror Story" in that each season has a beginning, middle and end.

  • 'Remington Steele' Returns

Deadline reports that NBC has given a script commitment plus penalty to a reboot of "Remington Steele," the romantic dramedy that served as Pierce Brosnan's big break. If picked up to series, "Remington Steele" will be reimagined as a half-hour comedy and a sequel to the previous iteration, which ran from 1982 to 1987 on the Peacock network. Jay Scherick and David Ronn will pen the pilot script with Ruben Fleischer set to direct.

  • Robbie Amell Talks 'Tomorrow People' Twists

The CW reimagining of the sci-fi series will be the show's fourth incarnation, hailing from the network's super-producers Greg Berlanti ("Arrow") and Julie Plec ("The Vampire Diaries"), and featuring the impressively chiseled Robbie Amell, cousin of "Arrow" star Stephen Amell and an apt illustration of the show's central conceit: some families truly do win the genetic lottery. While "The Tomorrow People" clearly isn't reinventing the wheel, it offers a sleek, confident update to a familiar tale, complete with dazzling visuals that wouldn't look out of place in a blockbuster. Amell plays Stephen Jameson, a teenager who has recently started hearing voices in his head and inexplicably waking up in bed with his disgruntled neighbors, despite their bolted door.

  • 6 Things To Know About The 'Arrow' Season Premiere

"Arrow" Season 2 returns tonight (Wed., Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW) and in the five months since the devastating Season 1 finale, a lot has changed for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and the other inhabitants of Starling City. The Season 2 premiere, titled "City of Heroes," is a great jumping on spot for new viewers, since it repositions many of the major characters and lays out a new trajectory for Oliver as he struggles to find his place in the world following the death of his best friend, Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell), and the incarceration of his mother, Moira Queen (Susanna Thompson), for her role in The Undertaking -- a plan to destroy the poorest part of the city, The Glades, with a man-made earthquake -- an act that inadvertently resulted in Tommy's death. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg likened the show to a comic book, with many different chapters in Oliver's journey towards becoming the hero that DC Comics fans know and love.

  • RENEWED

Fox has renewed "The Simpsons" for Season 26, the network announced Friday. In the spooky episode, director Guillermo del Toro (“Pacific Rim,” “Pan’s Labyrinth”) resurrects monsters and classic characters from horror films throughout history for the opening couch gag.

  • The Full Moon Is Out In Lifetime's Risque 'Witches Of East End'

As you can see in our exclusive sneak peek above, the show's stars -- including Jenna Dewan Tatum, Rachel Boston, Madchen Amick and Julia Ormond -- aren't afraid to bare all for their craft (no pun intended), although Amick did recently joke to reporters, “I’m runnin’ around set far too naked, far too often.” That's mostly a result of her character Wendy's ability to shift between human and cat form, which often puts her in troublesome (and clothing-free) predicaments. "Witches" is based on Melissa de la Cruz's novel of the same name, and has been described as "'Practical Magic' meets 'Dallas,'" which means viewers can expect soapiness, scares and sex, along with a hefty helping of mystery. "Witches of East End" centers on the mysterious Beauchamp family: free-spirited artist Joanna (Ormond) and her two grown daughters, wild-child bartender Freya (Dewan Tatum) and shy librarian Ingrid (Boston), both of whom are unaware that they are gifted (and cursed) with a magical birthright.

  • 'Scandal' Season 3 Is 'Off The Rails'

"Scandal" Season 3 premieres tonight (Thurs., Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC), and stars Darby Stanchfield (Abby Whelan) and Katie Lowes (Quinn Perkins) stopped by HuffPost Live to preview the "off the rails" new season. Season 2 saw plenty of twists and misdirects as the crew at Olivia Pope And Associates tried to uncover the identity of the mole, but this season kicks off with our characters facing an even bigger leak -- Olivia Pope's (Kerry Washington) identity as President Grant's (Tony Goldwyn) mistress.

  • 'Supernatural' Goes 'Game Of Thrones'?

The "Supernatural" Season 9 premiere is only a week away (Tues., Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW), and when we last saw the Winchester brothers, Sam (Jared Padalecki) was looking a little worse for wear after Dean (Jensen Ackles) talked him out of sacrificing his life to close the gates of Hell. According to the stars and executive producer Bob Singer, Sam's predicament will get worse before it gets better this season, leading Dean to make a decision that "he'll have to live with for some time," according to Singer. "When the season premiere starts, Sam's in bad, bad shape, and it was a purposefully misleading finale where it's like 'oh, good, he's not gonna finish [the trials], he's not gonna die.' But then we saw something happen to Sam, we don't know what," Padalecki previewed.

  • POSTMORTEM: 'OUAT' Creators Talk What's Ahead In Neverland

The "Once Upon a Time" Season 3 premiere, "The Heart of the Truest Believer" has now aired, and we've had our first glimpse of all the dangers lying in wait for our characters in Neverland. Peter Pan has revealed himself to be a master manipulator, tricking Henry into revealing just how powerful his sense of belief is, Greg and Tamara met a swift (and fitting) end, and our reluctant gang of heroes and villains learned that if they want to survive in Neverland, they'll have to work together. How will Neal make his way from the Enchanted Forest to Neverland to reunite with his family?
