Kyli Rodriguez-Cayro
Kyli Rodriguez-Cayro is a Latinx writer and mental health educator based in Salt Lake City. Her articles about trauma, disability, sex work, and health have been featured in HuffPost, Allure, Bustle, Healthline, NYLON, The Salt Lake Tribune, and more. As a founding member of the Sex Workers Outreach Project's Salt Lake City Chapter, Kyli co-coordinates SWOP SLC's street-based outreach program and harm reduction efforts. She is the assistant youth coordinator for the Youth Empowered Solutions to Succeed grant at the Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, which aims to improve health outcomes for youth experiencing homelessness and/or severe mental illness. She sits on the board of Utah's Disability Law Center, as well as the Utah Harm Reduction Coalition. In recognition of her work as a journalist and advocate, Kyli was the recipient of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Young Adult Leadership Voice Award in 2018.
