  • 8 Marathi films you must watch if you are a movie buff

While Bollywood continues to reign (in a manner of speaking) the Indian movie industry, the small but highly ingenious movies from regional film industries go unnoticed. Not all regional films are a ‘Baahubali’ that have the scale and resources to be released in five languages, thousands of cinemas and cater to all audiences. The Marathi film industry is one such, which boasts of some truly outstanding movies that haven’t got due recognition either due to language barrier or small marketing budget.

  • Yahoo review: Experiencing Thai flavours at Shiro

Sitting high on UB City’s terrace, Shiro’s location is perfect for those looking to have a quiet dinner. As I step into the restaurant and look up to the high ceiling and wooden furniture, I am reminded of Japanese castles. This blend of Thai culture with Japanese architecture is a subtle reminder of the pan-Asian cuisine that Shiro caters to.
