A passenger on a commuter railroad near Perth, Australia, was rescued by his fellow passengers after he slipped and got his leg caught in the gap between the train door and the platform -- and the entire scene was caught on video. "He stood in the doorway and as he was sort of taking up his position there, one leg slipped outside the door, slipped outside the gap and he was stuck," Transperth spokesman David Hynes told ABC Australia. A motorist risked his own life to save an injured dog from a busy highway in Houston. Video from the scene from KHOU shows Rickey Young stopping his pickup truck on the Eastex Freeway, getting out, hopping the highway divider and trying to approach the dog, which he had heard about from a traffic report on the radio. At first, the yellow Labrador appears scared and tries to back away -- so Young returns to his truck and gets a sandwich.
