  • The Queue: And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. Here it is folks. The final Queue of WoW Insider. Nothing is more appropriate for this last Queue than the Beatles. I saw this performed live by Sir Paul; it was amazing and rings so very true. Lets go out answering questions like we normally do. Katie asked: So honey, after seven years of this, did you accomplish what you wanted? I know it was hard for you at times, and that everything didn't always work out the way you wanted it, but in the end, did you make the difference with WoW Insider that you wanted to?

  • The Queue: Archaeology, specs, and a personal note about this column

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. A few days ago I was trying to reflect on what my favorite Queue of all time was -- and I think it's the one where I announced my engagement to my wife. First, it was the initial time that I thought to myself, "I really love the community we have here. They're a whole lot better than a lot of the other junk on the internet." Secondly, the post marked such a momentous occasion in my life, and one that I will always hold close to my heart, that it has some major sentimental connotations. Let's jump into the questions, going loudly into that good night. Pvpscrub asked: QFTQ: Is there a catchup mechanism for Archaeology?

  • The Queue: Lumber mill, UI, and Blizzard

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. Queued up, ready to go. Valen asked: Easy Q4tQ: do higher tiers of Lumber Mill generate more GR per WO? I assume not, but just wanna make sure.

  • The Queue: Buildings, treasure quests, HotS, and lore

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. Let's hop into the questions today. I promise that none are about chili. Craig asked: Will we ever get garrison buildings for Archaeology, Cooking, and First Aid? It would be nice if Nomi returned as a cooking follower. When will we see Murloc, Ethereal, and Naga followers?

  • The Queue: The mine, followers iLevel, the Burning Legion, and a facepalm

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. Sigh you guys and girls. So many comments as haikus. I can't facepalm more. Sjena asked: I'm trying to do the quest to open the mine on my horde character, but every time I try I'm unsuccessful. I have noticed that the Goren outside the mine are hostile, unlike on my alliance characters which were neutral. The grunt I need to save dies while I'm trying to get to her and fight off about 5 Goren, with more coming from the mine while I'm there. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

  • The Queue: Level 90 boost, follower iLevel, world bosses

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. Jpec asked: Does anyone else still have a level 90 boost lying around? I haven't been able to figure out what to do with the one I got through my Warlords purchase, so it's just been sitting there. Right now I'm torn between using it on my Monk (the only tanking class I don't have at least a 90 of) and my Shaman (one of the only DPS classes that has intrigued me enough to get past level 20 that I don't have maxed yet - I'm also considering healing). Any thots?

  • The Queue: A heirloom full of rubles

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. Hello Queue peeps! Let's answer some WoW questions today. Kvanje asked: Q4tQ: Has there been any word on Garrison Campaigns? I received quests the first two weeks after level 100 (the mole machine and the Sargerai), but haven't seen any in the month since. Judging by the forums, I'm not alone.

  • Pre-order your own Deathwing

If you have $600 burning a hole in your pocket, or if you just really love fire-breathing dragons, then the Deathwing statue can be yours! Slideshow Toys has partnered with Blizzard and is now accepting pre-orders for the statue. Given the table top view of the statue (under "Related Media"), it's about as big as an adult's chest. In other words, it's the perfect intimidating desk toy to have in your cubicle at work to ward off potential demons and unwelcome coworkers.

  • The Queue: Follower missions, bug complaints, and cosmetic accessories

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. We'll jump right into the questions today. Let's go! Toy asked: Q4TQ: do we know how follower missions get generated ? Even though most of my followers are 645+, I still get a lot of progression missions (more than half), and only few 100, 615 and 630 ones ( I know 645 ones are rare anyway). So I've started re-activating <100 followers, so those leveling missions don't go entirely to waste. In the end, 1- would keeping only 100+ (or even 645+) followers active give me more "good" missions ? 2- Do inactive followers impact the missions I get ? Is the system taking account inactive followers when generating the missions list?

  • The Queue: More crafts, poop, and chances at new race/class combos

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. First. Soel asked: What do you think the odds are we will see an extension of the craft able upgrades in future patches? I'd love to see extravagant Hexweave Essence where we go from ilvl 670 to 685. The time and materials investment for my 670 pieces would be disappointing if I just eventually replace them. Thoughts? Do you think Blizz would patch in recipes?

  • The Queue: Mine, traits, i5, and traffic

This Queue is written by Adam (also known as not Alex), who recently discovered that he's mildly obsessed with Mahler's Second Symphony. Happy Tuesday restarts, Queue! Let's jump into the questions today. Domehammer asked: Anyone experienced a goren invasion? Not the actual invasion but your mine suddenly is swarmed by 20-30 goren slaughtering miners. Isolated pockets without guards patrolling were left empty with corpses of miners.

  • The Queue: Queues, Sorting, and Santa

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today. Today's queue is a bit late. I blame my packages not getting here when I was told they would, so I had to punt and go shopping in the real world today. It was terrible. Way too long of queue lines. Rustin asked: could you ever see blizz putting in an alt queue finder? Like queue toon A for a raid while I switch to toon B to do some questing at lower lvls. More often than not I feel like I'm just sitting around waiting when I could be working on my alt army.

  • Today's restarts resolved all but two bugs with Draenor outposts

The restarts that hit the realms this morning fixed a variety of issues that have been dependent on a realm reset. Most of these have been small, but several related to the ability to change the outposts that you build around Draenor. Not everything is getting solved, however. Community Manager Lore hopped on the forms last night and tossed out two important bullet points about the fixes, and what players should avoid. The note is as follows: Blizzard Entertainment We've been working on a solution to the issues with swapping buildings that some players have reported. [Today's] restarts will fix several issues, but there are two outstanding issues that will have to be corrected in a future hotfix. In the meantime, we want to make sure players are aware of the issues so that you can avoid them. Alliance players who changed outpost buildings in Spires of Arak prior to tomorrow's restarts will not be able to access the new building's questline. Horde players who change outpost buildings in Talador will be unable to change their building a second time. The gold cost will be charged, but the building will instantly revert back. Aside from those two issues, we believe the fix applied with tomorrow's restarts will resolve all other issues with changing outpost buildings. The outstanding issues will be fixed as soon as possible. source
