Brooke Shields reveals the cringeworthy pickup line Donald Trump used on her

Brooke Shields stopped by Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where she revealed that Donald Trump once asked her out on a date. Andy was playing a game called Brooke Fields in which he showed pictures of the Brooke when she was younger, and she had to guess who was in the picture with her (the faces of the other people were covered up by Kim Fields’s face). The photos included Brooke and other celebrities like Michael Jackson, Andy Warhol, and Donald Trump. When it got to Trump, Shields gagged and said, “I can’t even speak.”

Andy asked Brooke if Trump ever hit on her and she said no, but he did ask her out on a date once. At first, it didn’t seem like Brooke wanted to talk about the awkward situation, but then she suddenly opened up about it. “He called me; I was on location doing a movie, and he called me right after he’d gotten a divorce,” she said. This was right after his divorce with Marla Maples. Brooke then revealed what Trump told her over the phone. She claimed that he said, “I really think we should date because you’re America’s sweetheart and I’m America’s richest man. And the people would love it.”

Now we know why she gagged when she first saw him. Brooke didn’t end up going on the date with Trump, apparently making up the excuse that she already had a boyfriend. To think, we could have first lady Brooke Shields right now!
