On an early second-quarter run against North Carolina, Syracuse running back Moe Neal picked up a big gain, running through a would-be tackler in the process.

Well, sort of.

Neal, while looking for UNC defenders, accidentally trucked one of the officials en route to a 24-yard gain.

Fortunately, the umpire was able to quickly get to his feet and resume his duties. And that drive ended in a field goal for the Orange.

Syracuse went on to win 40-37 in double-overtime to improve to 5-2 (2-2 ACC) on the year. Neal led the Orange with 66 rushing yards on just eight carries.

UNC dropped to 1-5 (1-3 ACC) with the loss.
