20 More Funniest Movies to See, Should You Live A Little Longer

Adam Pockross
Movie Talk

Comedy is all about taste. If a movie makes you laugh, it may not make your buddy laugh, and it probably won't make your mother laugh. Since everyone has tastes, and they can't all align, we received thousands of comments from you fine folks, disagreeing with parts (or all) of our 100 Funniest Movies to See Before You Die list.

Here are some prime examples:

Alan from Tucson, Arizona says:

"I think that you forgot about one of the funniest films ever made.... MY COUSIN VINNY!"

James R from Atlantic City, New Jersey says:

"How isn't every Mel Brooks movie on here, and Where is Half Baked, Beverly Hills Cop, Spies Like Us, and Bachelor Party?"

John (apparently from nowhere) says:

"Remove Anchorman, Billy Madison and Borat and your golden. Anyone who thinks they should be in there has bleached their brains out."

We hear your comments, loud and clear. But if you have a finite number of movies to see before you die, you need variety, right? And since other films have covered similar terrain with similar talent, a lot of good movies didn't make it. Honestly, some of our favorites got cut too.

Since we are extremely proud of both the process and the end results, we have no intention of changing our list. It is our line in the sand. However, to thank you for raising your voices in defense of the titles you love, we honor your opinions with this companion list, culled from user comments.

So, in addition to our 100 Funniest Movies to See Before You Die list, here is your list of the Top 20 Movies to See, Should You Miraculously Be Given the Chance to Live a Little Longer.
