Yahoo Lifestyle would like to introduce you to The New-New, a column by Beauty Director Dana Oliver on the latest products, tools, and treatments on which she’d happily spend her hard-earned money.

Highlighters that give you the kind of glow you can see from outer space are what’s trending right now. From Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife to Raye Boyce and BH Cosmetics’ soon-to-be-released Moonlight, these gilded powders are the closest you’ll probably get to looking as if you’ve been dipped in 24-karat gold. Now Instagram-favorite brand Farsali is shaking things up with a new gel highlighter that will take your glow from 0 to 100, real quick.

Farsali first uploaded an Instagram video one week before its Nov. 1 launch date, showcasing Jelly Beam being stirred with a mini-spatula, and the clip has since reached more than 151,000 views and garnered over 400 comments. Beauty lovers professed their love for the product, writing, “NEED THIS IN MY LIFEEEEEE,” “Ooommgg huunntty… Yaaasss!!,” and “Holy s*** this glow makes me orgasm.”

Jelly Beam sold out online immediately, and after dabbing it onto my skin for just a few days, I understand exactly why.

When I first opened my sample jar of Jelly Beam, I immediately started singing Destiny’s Child’s “Bootylicious.” The jelly-like consistency gives it a lot of bounce that makes it easy to apply with your fingertips, makeup brush, or beauty sponge.

Even though it possesses a liquid texture, it dries down to a satin powder that is long-lasting on its own or easy to enhance by layering other highlighters on top. I also love the fact that you can mix it with most cosmetics — from foundation to face cream to body moisturizer — and achieve a natural, healthy-looking glow.

Unlike the other popular highlighters that I mentioned earlier, Jelly Beam boasts a rose gold finish, which makes it flattering for light, medium, and dark skin tones. This is not an easy feat to pull off!

But be warned: A little Jelly Beam goes a long way. I recommend pressing a small amount onto your upper cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, and along your Cupid’s bow to avoid looking like a shiny disco ball, but still catch a glimmer underneath all the lights.

Farsali Jelly Beam ($40) is sold only at farsali.com while supplies last. Sign up for notifications to find out when it’s back in stock.
