Even though Apple has yet to release the iPhone 15, tech fans are already starting to trade rumors about an even more exciting launch that should happen in the near future: the iPhone 16 Ultra. 

“With much speculation surrounding the features of the iPhone 15, details about the iPhone 16 series have also come to light,” says Tech Expert Evans Karanja at Lonelyaxe. “Even though there is no official information about an iPhone 16 Ultra, rumors in the industry say that it will come out in 2024 with five models. The iPhone 16 Ultra will be the top-tier model in the line-up, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.”

What are Some of its Most Impressive Features?

Display Screen

Not only is the phone bigger, but it is also better, Karanja says. “Considering the iPhone 14 Plus launched with a 6.7-inch screen display, Apple could continue to increase the device’s size,” he says. “The screen will likely be an LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED with a resolution of at least 4K.”

Performance & Storage

With a new and improved A-series chip, possibly the A18 or higher, Karanja says we’re looking at better performance and speed. Also, the Ultra models would probably have at least 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage space, he adds. 

Camera

“Apple’s greatest highlight lies in its camera system,” Karanja says. “We could expect a triple or even quadruple-camera setup on the device’s rear. The cameras could also feature improved low-light capabilities and advanced AI-powered features.”

Other potential features that Karanja points out include:

  • 5G connectivity.

  • An in-display fingerprint scanner.

  • Improved battery life that integrates new technology.

“Of course, all of these predictions are based on industry speculation and rumors, and Apple may choose to go in a different direction with their future iPhone releases,” Karanja says. “Only time will tell what the iPhone 16 Ultra (or whatever Apple decides to call it) will actually offer.”

When Will the iPhone 16 Ultra be Released?

According to rumors, Karanja says the iPhone 16 Ultra will launch on February 24, 2024.

How Much is it Expected to Cost?

Buckle up because this model won’t be cheap. “The iPhone 16 Ultra will bear a hefty price tag and possibly retail for $ 1,932,” Karanja says. “The iPhone 16 Ultra costs a few dollars more than its predecessor, but it’s all worth the price since it has top-notch features.”

Is it Worth it?

Finally, the question everyone wants to know. It’s going to be pricey, but will the iPhone 16 Ultra be worth it? According to Karanja, it most certainly will be. “Every new launch from Apple is worth the upgrade,” Karanja says. “The same goes for the iPhone 16 Ultra. With the features listed above, users will get a noticeable boost in performance, the camera, and battery life.”
