The Wanted is on a rampage! First they bashed Christina Aguilera and now they’ve moved on to her former friend, Britney Spears!

The band The Wanted is new to the music scene, but they sure aren’t afraid to create waves. The guys were on the New York radio station Fresh 102.7 when they recounted a less than ideal moment with Britney Spears.

“We signed a confidentiality thing that we should never say anything about what happened, but let’s tell it anyway,” Tom Parker said.

Bandmate Siva Kaneswaran elaborated, saying, “I was in the hallway with my tour manager. Basically we were looking with a laptop, trying to get WiFi… facing the middle of the hallway. (Britney’s) bouncers came down with her and told us to face the wall… As Miss Spears is walking through. ‘We’re like, come on!’”

He added, “We turned around and I faced a wall for about 10 seconds until she got really far away.”

This isn’t the first time The Wanted has bashed an A-list pop star. A couple weeks ago, they complained about Christina Aguilera treating them badly on The Voicesomething Britney’s rep finds somewhat suspicious.

“What’s even more interesting than the false allegations they made is the fact that they have claimed to be picked on by two female pop stars in just a few days. Look out Lady Gaga – there are still three days left this week,” Jeff Raymond, Britney’s rep, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

Their story seems a little off the wall to us. It doesn’t sound like Britney had any control of the situation — it was more her team.

Do you think The Wanted’s stories are refreshing or are they out of line? Sound off below!
