Miley Cyrus becomes Dolly Parton during classic 'Islands in the Stream' performance

Miley Cyrus continued her week-long visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. On the show this week, Miley sang a song with Adam Sandler, photobombed some fans of The Voice, and wrote a thank- you note to Hillary Clinton. On Wednesday night, Miley and Jimmy dressed up as Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers as they mimicked the duo’s classic performance of “Islands in the Stream.”

From the cheesy ’80s background to Miley’s big blonde wig, they perfectly captured the original performance. While Miley needed a wig and some other physical enhancements to capture the look of her godmother, she didn’t need anything to nail her voice.

It was just a straightforward performance — the two came out and simply sang the song, just like Dolly and Kenny did back in the day. But with a classic like “Islands in the Stream,” what more do you need?
