Brooklinn Khoury Says After Dog Shook Her Head, Ripped Off Lip, She Looked Like A ‘Skeleton’

Brooklinn Khoury says that two years ago, she was visiting family when their pit bull bit her. “We weren’t playing. He was just sitting, and I was, kind of, petting his head, telling him how good of a boy he was,” Khoury recalls. “I turned around and I turned back, and he literally, like, lunged at my face, shaking my head like a dog, and then he finally released my head. Something fell on the ground. I went and picked it up, and it was my lip with my nose and the top part of my lip attached.” In the video above, Khoury describes the incident, seeing herself for the first time after and looking like a “skeleton.” Hear how she says she has been able to get through the healing process.
