The Toronto Blue Jays have completed their trade that sent Seunghwan Oh to the Colorado Rockies for a “player to be named later.”

As is the case in most “PTBNL” situations, Baker is the least significant piece in the deal. The 6-foot-6 right-hander doesn’t appear on any major prospect lists and is currently toiling at the High-A level in a relief role.
In 45 innings this season he’s posted an impressive 11.6 K/9, but it’s been paired with an ugly 6.8 BB/9. That has resulted in a 3.80 ERA, a number that’s rather misleading because the former 40th-round pick has allowed almost as many unearned runs (17) as earned runs (19).
The prizes of the Oh deal for the Blue Jays were outfielder Forrest Wall and first baseman Chad Spanberger.
