The California Highway Patrol is searching for a motorcyclist who was captured on video as he kicked a vehicle on the 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita on Wednesday and triggered a wild, chain-reaction crash that left one motorist injured when his truck flipped. The 22-second clip of the apparent road-rage incident has been shared thousands of times on Facebook. It shows the motorcyclist kicking the driver’s side of a sedan in the southbound carpool lane of the freeway. The sedan responds by veering left and sideswiping the motorcycle. The sedan driver appears to lose control at the end of the maneuver, swerving right, across the double-yellow lines, then hard left before slamming into the freeway

A teenager fatally shot by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in Palmdale early Thursday was accidentally killed as he tried to stop his aggressive dog from attacking the officers, according to an internal sheriff’s department memo. In a news conference at the scene hours after the shooting, Capt. Christopher Bergner of the Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau said it appeared that both the teen and the deputy had been struck by “skip” rounds that had ricocheted off the ground when deputies fired at the charging animal. “He may have been struck by one of the skip rounds in what we’re calling an extremely, extremely unfortunate incident,” Bergner said. As they arrived, a pit bull charged at them and bit one of the deputies in the left knee, Bergner said.
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ashton Kutcher, Vanessa Hudgens and Liam Payne joined Jimmy Fallon to play "Secret Ingredient." "Secret Ingredient" is a game in which Mario Batali served them a gourmet three course meal but each meal was prepared with one unusual secret ingredient. Ashton Kutcher was a little unclear on the rules at first with his first guess being "dumpling rice wrap" when the secret ingredient was actually jagermeister. He seemed to think he was just giving a name to the whole meal. But in round two when the ingredient was marshmallow fluff, he fought with Fallon over the spit buckets below the table to get the disgusting pizza bite out of his mouth as quickly as possible. Kutcher even washed his mouth out with water and spat that into the bucket. After that round, Kutcher was definitely not excited about the prospect of tossing his cookies during the dessert round saying, "I just don't want to throw up." Despite the dramatics, he ended up feeling pretty confident about his cheesecake's secret ingredient guessing "doritos" although it ended up being "fritos." But it was the anchovy ice cream that really did him in as he had to immediately spit that out and do some dry heaving with his bucket. In the end, Ashton's palette detected the fishy ingredient and he went home a winner.
