Donald Trump is skipping the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. “I will not be attending the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner this year,” Trump tweeted to his followers on Saturday. The legendary event, known as the “nerd prom,” is traditionally attended by the president, with Barack Obama having joked in the past about the fun-loving undertone of the dinner. The news comes about a month after Trump, 70, was sworn in as President of the United States.

Before the 89th annual Academy Awards kicked off on Sunday, Disney aired a commercial for its upcoming Avatar World theme park, featuring commentary from Avatar director James Cameron. The commercial showed off parts of the park, including fully functional, animatronic creatures from Avatar. Donald Trump's Chicago hotel is suing an NFL player and his bride for allegedly stiffing the hotel on a big wedding bill, but it seems from the lawsuit something went wrong during the reception. Tennessee Titans linebacker Justin Staples tied the knot with Amber last June and, judging from the video, the reception was fun and lovely. They even had Afterglow Snacks, which, based on the menu, may have included cheeseburger sliders, buffalo wings, fried mac and cheese bites and BBQ spiced waffle fries.
