This Is How Twitter Reacted to the Trump Presser
In a Tuesday afternoon press conference, Donald Trump went back to his original stance on the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville over the weekend - that "both sides" were to blame. And he doubled down, adding: "You had a group on one side that was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent ... Nobody wants to say that, but I’ll say it." He also said there were "very fine people on both sides," and he compared Robert E. Lee to George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
The reaction was swift, with everyone from celebrities to Republican officials condemning what he said.
Hate has always existed in America. Yes we know that but Donald Trump just made it fashionable again! Statues has nothing to do with us now!

We must be clear. White supremacy is repulsive. This bigotry is counter to all this country stands for. There can be no moral ambiguity.

President Trump is so sympathetic to white supremacists that he can't even call their terrorism what it is, even when it kills an American.

Every past president that is still alive needs to come forward now and denounce Trump and advocate for him being declared unfit for office.
