RPM International: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot

MEDINA, Ohio (AP) _ RPM International Inc. (RPM) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $14.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Medina, Ohio-based company said it had profit of 11 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 14 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 11 cents per share.

The specialty chemicals company posted revenue of $1.14 billion in the period, which met Street forecasts.

For the current quarter ending in May, RPM International expects its per-share earnings to range from $1.12 to $1.16.

RPM International shares have increased 1 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 25 percent in the last 12 months.
