DUBAI (Reuters) - HSBC has appointed Martin Tricaud as new regional chief executive officer for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, the bank said in a statement on Wednesday.

He succeeds Georges Elhedery who has been appointed to lead HSBC's global markets division.

Tricaud was CEO of HSBC Australia from March 2017.
