Alyssa Milano Shows Ted Cruz Who’s the Boss by Denying Him a Hug
It seems that Jerry Seinfeld isn’t the only one capable of spectacularly denying someone a hug.
“Who’s the Boss?” alum Alyssa Milano did the same thing on Thursday, shutting down Republican Senator Ted Cruz’s bid for a social-media cuddle.
The genesis of the shut-down occurred on Tuesday, when Milano put out an open call for hugs via Twitter.

In a not-at-all-creepy turn of events, Texas senator Cruz accepted the challenge on Thursday, replying to Milano’s tweet with the response, “We all need a hug!” Cruz unsettlingly punctuated the come-on with a winking-face emoji.
Milano quickly made it clear that she wasn’t ready to welcome the politician with open arms.

“Not you, @tedcruz. You’re not invited,” the actress fired back.
