Selena Gomez Wears a Wedding-Like Dress to the Met Gala With The Weeknd

Selena Gomez isn’t letting a little fashion shaming get in the way of her Met Gala look.

The star showed up to the Costume Institute’s annual fundraiser wearing a custom creation from Coach. She walked in holding hands with her new boyfriend, The Weeknd (who did the same at the event last year with Bella Hadid). Interestingly enough, the white chiffon gown, embellished with sequin clusters, gave off major wedding dress vibes.

Earlier in the day, she shared a snapshot of her getting read with Stuart Vevers, the creative director of the brand. “Because it should be fun and truly authentic,” she wrote.

In December, she was signed as an ambassador for the brand, reportedly making $10 million. Based on her Met Gala look, she was worth every penny.
