Happy Birthday Stella McCartney
PETA’s favorite designer turns 43 today. The Central Saint Martins grad has been making razor sharp clothes (those perfect fitting pants!) as well as beautiful feminine frocks that women love but also can feel good about. The daughter of Sir Paul was raised as a vegetarian and a diehard animal lover so she has never used leather or fur in her fashion. And that good karma seems to have paid off— her clothes are coveted by celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Liv Tyler, and Rihanna, who was spotted in one of her cozy sweaters recently. And with a hectic schedule (she’ll show her spring 2015 during Paris Fashion week) and four kids, the clean living has kept her looking still fresh faced and beautiful even in her 40’s. Happy Birthday to a girl who does it all with class and a conscience.
