Makiyo admits the reason for her failed marriage

13 May - Makiyo recently admitted that one of the reasons of her failed marriage was due to her marrying for marriage's sake.

In a recent interview, the 39-year-old Taiwanese-Japanese artiste admitted that she and her ex-husband Mr Jin have very different personalities and that he was rarely in her life, which made her feel more like a single mother than anything.

However, her next words surprised many, as she admitted, "Actually, I don't love him at all."

"There are people like me, who decided to get married for marriage's sake. In addition to his proposal, it was mainly because I was with a child and I was willing to make changes for the child. But not for a man," she said.

Makiyo said that her ex-husband has not contacted her or their son since the divorce. The couple ended their marriage after eight months.

Asked if her ex-husband provided alimony, she responded, "I didn't ask for money from him."

Makiyo surprised many back in 2022 when she announced her marriage in May of the same year. She later revealed in October that she had given birth to their first child.

A few days after the birth, Mr. Jin took to social media to accuse Makiyo of having terrible temper during her postpartum period, which she then responded with a list of "six major crimes" of her husband, which include being "useless during her confinement" and "leaving their newborn under the air-conditioner duct."
