Car crashes into Springfield duplex’s living room

Springfield Police are investigating after a car crashed into a duplex on Red Coach Drive Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 11 a.m. in the 3000 block of Red Coach. The car ended up in the living room of the house. Police said the driver told them she suffered a medical episode before the crash.

Springfield police said the driver wasn’t hurt and there was no one home at the time of the crash.

The Clark County Engineer’s Office responded to the scene to evaluate the building and the people living next door were allowed to return to their home.

The driver was cited for failure to control, police said.
