Vehicle fire in West End Avenue parking garage leads to evacuation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Crews extinguished a vehicle fire along West End Avenue Friday morning, but the incident will continue to impact people in the immediate area.

The Nashville Fire Department posted on X about the vehicle fire, which took place in the parking garage at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Nashville Vanderbilt/West End.

Even though the fire is out, officials said ventilating the area will take a while.

As of 8:59 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, evacuation of the building is still ongoing, according to the department. Traffic in the area may also be affected.

Officials said there are no reports of injuries, but they did not share any additional details about the fire.
